As a non-registered ministry and charitable trust, our services are provided in line with the Constitution of America and applicable regulations. 2. Information We Collect


Advent Advocate Consulting collects personal information to provide advocacy services to victims of human trafficking. The information we collect may include, but is not limited to:


  • Personal Identifying Information: Name, address, email address, phone number.


  • Verification Information: Social Security Number (SSN), government-issued identification, utility bills, and/or bank statements in accordance with 12 CFR § 1022.142(b)(1).


  • Information Related to Trafficking Status: Self-attestation regarding your status as a victim of human trafficking. Please note, as per our policy, we do not document the details of your trafficking experience.


  • Login Credentials: Consumer reporting agency account details provided voluntarily to facilitate the credit blocking process.



3. Legal Basis for Usage of Personal Data


We process personal information under the following legal bases:


  • Consent: By providing us with your information, you consent to its use for the purposes outlined in this policy.


  • Legal Obligations: We may process personal data to comply with legal obligations in specific jurisdictions, where applicable.


  • Legitimate Interest: We may use personal information as necessary to fulfill our charitable mission to advocate on behalf of survivors of human trafficking.



4. How We Use Personal Information


We use personal information to provide you with the following services:


  • Verifying your identity for the purpose of engaging with credit reporting agencies and government bodies.


  • Assisting in the preparation of Self Attestation Affidavits and supporting documentation.


  • Facilitating communication related to your rights under Regulation V and assisting with credit blocking processes.


  • Maintaining contact with you throughout the advocacy process and providing updates.


We do not document your trafficking experience to ensure that such sensitive details are not shared or disclosed to any unauthorized third parties, including authorities, without your explicit consent.



5. How We Disclose Personal Information


We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share information in the following circumstances:


  • Affiliates: We share information with BOSS ME UP SOLUTIONS LLC when necessary to provide services and to promote financial literacy and stability. Both organizations are controlled by the same entity.


  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist in service delivery (e.g., email providers or document management services) may receive access to personal data under strict confidentiality agreements.


  • Courts and Other Third Parties: We may share essential identifying information with third parties, such as courts, to assist in obtaining victim certification documentation needed to enforce the blocking of adverse information.


  • Lawful Obligations: We may disclose personal information to comply with applicable laws, court orders, or governmental requests.


  • With Your Consent: In any other situation, we will only share your information if you explicitly consent.



6. Retention


We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Since we do not store the details of your trafficking experience, we retain only essential information related to the services provided.



7. Security


We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. 


These measures include:


  • Encryption of sensitive information.


  • Secure storage of identification and verification documents.


  • Limiting access to personal data to authorized individuals.


However, please note that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.



8. Changes to This Privacy Policy


We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where appropriate, notified to you via email. By continuing to use our services after such changes, you agree to the updated terms.
